For those familiar with irc text chat: connect to irc.OFTC.net for Interactive chat; then /join #DueProcess

you can get my ip # there and then you can join team speak as described below

1 GET A YAHOO ID <-------- CLICK HERE

2 Next screen - fill in all the * information then click I AGREE

3 look in your email for your confirmation and password that signs you in

4 sign in

NOW THAT YOU HAVE A YAHOO ID....... GO TO the AOR WORK SHOP <----- OR CLICK HERE

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL SEE:

CLICK JOIN GROUP AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. WHEN APPROVED FOR THE GROUP AN EMAIL WILL BE SENT TO YOU CONFIRMING MEMBERSHIP. NOW YOU CAN ACCESS THE GROUPS ASSETS, POST MESSAGES ETC.

GO TO MIRC.COM and download mirc

use the illinois site to download and run mirc 6.2

once installed......... run the program this is what you will see;

just click continue here is what you should see:

fill-in your nicknames then click SERVERS on the left....... select UNDERNET: RANDOM US SERVERS

GO BACK TO OPTIONS on the left menu and click on CONNECT TO SERVER

ONCE MIRC CONNECTS THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD SEE

you can type #AOR-MISSOURI in the top box and then click JOIN

THAT SHOULD PUT YOU IN THE AOR TEXT CHAT ROOM. NOTICE THERE ARE TWO WINDOWS.. THE STATUS WINDOW AND THE AOR ROOM WINDOW.

SINCE MIRC IS A TEXT CHAT ONLY PROGRAM IT IS NECESSARY TO GET ONLINE WITH AN INTERACTIVE VOICE CHAT.

HERE IS HOW THAT IS DONE

IN YOUR BROWSER, GO TO TEAMSPEAK.COM <----------or click here

go to quick start and click DOWNLOAD NOW

click the TeamSpeak 2 Client site for your operating system. the highlited one is mine for windows xp

install the program........ once installed, run it......... you should see this:

click connect

right click server and click on ADD SERVER

name the new server AOR ....... on the right name the server again, enter your nick name and click the annonymous button

now......... in order to enter the aor room you must sign on with the correct ip # (second item on this screen) since my ip # changes from time to time

you will need to know how to get my ip#................ this is one reason we are using mirc text chat....... not only can we keep our presence in the aor missouri room

as long as we want but we can always find the ip for the voice chat on teamspeak...... here is how... remember the mirc window has a status window when you log in?

that status window will tell us what we need to know...... first highlite and right click BBLURKIN in the aor room....... then click WHOIS.... MIRC WILL TYPE THE WHOIS INFO IN THE STATUS WINDOW...... LIKE THIS

IN THE STATUS WINDOW IT SAYS : bblurkin is bblurkin@adsl-68-91-94-236.dsl.ksc2mo.swbell.net

68-91-94-236 <------- THIS IS THE SERVER NUMBER......... COPY PASTE IT TO THE TEAMSPEAK SERVER ADDRESS AND CHANGE THE DASHES TO PERIODS......

enter the server password XANDER set the server then click CONNECT

NOW YOU SHOULD BE HERE:

YOUR IN....... PRESS CTRL KEY TO TALK...... THERE YOU GO NOW YOU ARE CONNECTED TO THE AOR WORKSHOP, THE AOR IRC ROOM AND THE AOR VOICE SYSTEM ON TS.

NOW THAT WASN'T SO DIFFICULT........ WAS IT? LOL

FOR NOW THIS IS THE BEST WE CAN DO..... THE OTHER VOICE CHAT SYSTEMS HAVE BECOME UNUSABLE...... BUT THIS WILL WORK FINE
